About PLOP POTTERY
Hi, my name is Scarlett and I started PLOP pottery in 2019. PLOP was born out of my irrevocable love of clay, and my need to keep exploring its never ending possibilities. My biggest influences are colours, patterns and shapes from everyday scenes and nature that I take and experiment with. The inspiration for PLOP pieces are found through creative play and a continued exploration of the material. I have absolutely loved growing PLOP, whilst working with clay acts as a meditative, calming space for me, I am also learning so much about myself and growing my confidence in such a special way whilst I step by step grow my small business. There are so many exciting milestones to happen still, I can’t wait, and am so thankful for you joining me along the way!
All my work is hand-built by me in my shared pottery studio in Bristol, Liberty Lane Workshop. Alongside selling my work at markets, such as Salad Days Market, Independent Ceramics Market and Estate of the Arts Market, my work is stocked in a selection of shops.
